Eaton Manor was delighted to host the recent Shropshire Chamber Netwalking event at the end of May, welcoming members for a relaxed and engaging morning in the beautiful South Shropshire countryside.
Stepping away from traditional meeting spaces, attendees gathered to enjoy a guided walk along Eaton Manor’s Poetry Trail. This thoughtfully designed route combines natural beauty with the area’s rich literary heritage. The trail follows the estate's scenic surroundings, offering far-reaching views and a peaceful setting that naturally encourages conversation and connection.
The Poetry Trail is designed to provide an ‘outdoor reset’, bringing together nature, reflection, and creativity. Along the way, participants had the opportunity to pause, take in the landscape, and engage with curated poetry inspired by the local environment, creating an atmosphere where conversations flowed easily and naturally.
Feedback from attendees was extremely positive, with many commenting on the stunning location, the quality of the venue, and the kind and welcoming hospitality they experienced throughout the morning.
The event also highlighted the benefits of netwalking as an alternative approach to business networking - promoting not only professional connections but also wellbeing, fresh thinking, and a stronger sense of community.
The morning concluded back at Eaton Manor’s Events Venue, where participants enjoyed tea, coffee, and biscuits in the Banqueting Room and its tranquil Secret Garden - relaxed and welcoming spaces to continue conversations and reflect on the experience.
Eaton Manor looks forward to hosting future events and continuing to provide a setting where business, wellbeing, and the natural environment come together.
